Domestic Cleaning in Shenfield

Domestic Cleaning in Shenfield

How does a regular cleaner help a Shenfield commuter household?

A regular cleaner gives you back the hours you'd otherwise spend cleaning after a long commute. You agree a fixed day with us, your cleaner arrives while you're at work in London, and by the time you're back from the station the kitchen, bathrooms and floors are done. Your weekends stay free for family and Shenfield Common.

Each visit follows a checklist you can personalise. Kitchen worktops, the hob, sink and every surface are wiped down, bathrooms and en suites cleaned and the floors vacuumed and mopped. Dust is taken off skirting, shelves and furniture, which helps if anyone in the house is sensitive to dust and allergens. Leave a note for any extra task that week, like changing the beds or cleaning inside the microwave.

Weekly or fortnightly: which suits a Shenfield family house?

Weekly suits most Shenfield family houses with children, pets or more than one bathroom, because the kitchen and bathrooms never get far behind. Fortnightly cleans work well for couples, smaller homes and anyone who tidies as they go. Both are cheaper per hour than a one off clean.

Domestic cleaning in Shenfield starts from £23 an hour, and the exact price depends on the size of the property, how often we come and whether we bring equipment. Click Get a quote, enter your postcode and email, and you'll see the price before you book. Larger Hutton Mount homes simply get a longer appointment.

If the house hasn't had a thorough clean in a while, book a deep clean first, from £27 an hour. That deals with built up grease, grout, limescale and the dirt behind furniture, and the regular visits keep on top of it after.

How do keys and access work while you're on the train?

Many Shenfield clients give us a key or the code to a key safe, so the cleaner can let themselves in and lock up after. Tell us about the alarm, any pets and rooms to leave alone, and we'll pass it on.

We try to send the same cleaner every time, so they get to know your home and how you like things done. That brings real peace of mind when nobody is at home. If your cleaner is ill or on holiday, another of our own trained team covers the visit with your notes.

How should I prepare for my first clean in Shenfield?

Very little preparation is needed. Clear worktops and floors of clutter where you can, so the cleaner spends the time cleaning rather than tidying, and point out anything delicate such as a stone worktop or a wooden floor that needs a particular product.

Shenfield's water is hard, from Essex & Suffolk Water, so limescale builds up fast on taps, shower screens and kettles. Our cleaners use Limescale Remover, our own product, on every visit. If something isn't right afterwards, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back to put it right.
