After builders cleaning starts from £179. Before you book, we tell you how many cleaners are coming and how long they will spend, and you see your price.

Because after builders cleaning is about time. A fixed price for the size of the property tells you nothing about how long someone will actually spend in your home. We want you to know what you're getting.

Even a tidy site takes time, because the dust is on every centimetre. Products, equipment and experience help with paint and heavy mess, but they can't speed up the dust. It just needs time, so we give it that time.

Then the job might need more time than we planned. If that happens, we talk to you and agree the extra time, and the extra cost, before we carry on.

Yes. Where paint has been left behind, the professional products and equipment we use, and the experience of our cleaners, make a big difference.

Many companies send someone for a couple of hours and keep the margin. We don't. I haven't met a company that spends more time on an after builders clean than we do, and if we charge the same as someone else, we always spend more time.

It depends on the size of the job, and it's all about performance. We usually only send a team for jobs of 6 plus hours. On a short job, two cleaners lose time settling in at the start and finishing at the end, and that adds up to almost an hour.

Yes. We recommend one cleaner for up to 8 hours. Over 8 hours anyone gets tired and the work suffers, so for longer jobs we send a team.

Yes. We work with construction companies who hand finished homes back to their clients. A good construction company doesn't want to leave a client with a dusty house.

Yes. Construction companies often work to a tight budget, and cleaning is often left out of it. We offer one off after builders cleans directly to their clients, so you can come home to a clean house.

Yes. We work with landlords as well as homeowners and construction companies.

We have systems in place so our cleaners arrive on the day and at the time you booked. If something outside our control happens, your clean is still done within 12 hours, or we do it for free.

We don't just cancel. We still handle your booking and get it done within 12 hours. If your clean was booked for the afternoon, for example, it would move to first thing the next morning.

We check on our cleaners early in the morning and again late in the afternoon, so we know they're on track.

If you or anyone else checks the property after we leave and finds a spot we missed, we come back and put it right, completely free of charge.

In my experience, no. After builders cleaning needs a sharp eye for detail. Cleaners who mostly do regular cleans get used to the same homes and the same routine, and many areas an after builders clean needs are never touched on a regular clean.

Yes. Every cleaner is part of our own trained, insured and DBS checked team. We never send random people.

We look for people who are happy and open to learn, rather than people with years of habits. Everyone has a trial first. Then they work alongside one of our cleaners, usually for 2 to 4 weeks. For the first one to two months working on their own, we check their work at least 3 times a week.
