Is regular cleaning just a light clean?
Not with us. Anyone can wipe a bit of dust and hoover. When you book a professional, we should achieve more than that and reach the areas that usually get skipped.
What do you clean on a regular visit?
Your home, plus the jobs that take more time and get missed day to day: the tops and the outside of the kitchen cupboards, the microwave, taking the rubbish out and cleaning the bin.
How much does domestic cleaning cost?
Domestic cleaning starts from £23 per hour.
What is your show up guarantee?
We have systems in place so our cleaners arrive on the day and at the time you booked. If something outside our control happens, your clean is still done within 12 hours, or we do it for free.
What happens if my cleaner can't make it?
We don't just cancel. We still handle your booking within 12 hours. If your clean was booked for the afternoon, for example, it would move to first thing the next morning.
How do you make sure your cleaners turn up?
We check on our cleaners early in the morning and again in the late afternoon, so we know they're on track. If something happens outside our control, our show up guarantee is there.
What if I'm not happy with a clean?
Tell us within 24 hours and we'll deal with it.
Will the same cleaner come each time?
That's how we like regular cleaning to work. A cleaner who comes to you regularly learns your house and what you want, and works to it every time.
Will you send two cleaners to finish faster?
Not for a short clean. We usually send a team only on jobs of 6 hours or more. In my experience two cleaners for an hour and a half never finish the same work as one cleaner in 3 hours.
Why does a team lose time on a short clean?
Every cleaner needs time to settle in at the start and to finish off at the end, 10 minutes here, 10 minutes there. If two cleaners each lose 20 minutes, that's 40 minutes, almost an hour of your clean.
How long can one cleaner work?
We recommend one cleaner for up to 8 hours. After that people get tired and the work suffers, so for longer jobs we send a team.
Are your cleaners your own team?
Yes. Every cleaner is part of our own trained, insured and DBS checked team. We don't post a job and send whoever answers.
How do you train your cleaners?
Everyone who applies fills in a form and gets scored. The right people are invited to a trial. After that they work alongside one of our cleaners, usually for two to four weeks. Once they work on their own, we check their work at least three times a week for the first one to two months.
Do you only hire experienced cleaners?
No. In my experience a cleaner who has learned to work the wrong way is very hard to teach. We look for people who are happy and open to learn, and we train them our way.
Do you use professional products?
Yes. Cleaning is experience and knowledge, and it's professional cleaning products too.
How long have you been cleaning homes?
12 years. I started as a self employed cleaner, and SN Cleaning Services began as a regular home cleaning company.
Will I be treated as just another booking?
No. We care about how you feel and whether you see real value in what we do. You're not a one off transaction to us.
