What does an Essex holiday let turnover involve?

Each changeover follows a checklist, so the property is guest ready every time. We clean and disinfect the bathroom, including the toilet, shower, basin and mirrors. In the kitchen we wipe worktops, the hob, the sink and the outside of appliances, check the microwave and fridge for leftovers, and wash and put away used crockery. Beds are made up with the linen you leave at the property.

Floors are vacuumed and mopped throughout. For seaside lets, we pay extra attention to sand in entrance halls, shower trays and along skirting boards, since it gets tracked in by every guest. If something is broken, stained or running low, such as toilet roll, toiletries or bin bags, we let you know so you can restock before the next booking.

Can you handle a quick turnaround between guests?

The clean happens in the window between your check out time and the next guest's check in. When you book, give us those times and the dates you have guests changing over. We plan visits around them. If you have back to back bookings over a bank holiday or in the summer, tell us as early as you can. That gives us the best chance of fitting every changeover into your calendar.

Let us know how our cleaner gets in, such as a key safe or smart lock, and where to park. Coastal roads can be busy on sunny weekends, and some seafront streets have parking restrictions, so this helps us arrive on time. If anything is not right after a clean, tell us within 24 hours and we will come back.
